Responsibilities:
Support development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned commodities through market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and alignment with regional and global purchasing objectives (QCD, cost, innovation).
Own assigned commodity sourcing activities, including supplier relationship management, supplier selection, qualification activities, RFQs, commercial negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives in alignment with regional purchasing objectives.
Ensure accurate and timely data management in sourcing tools (e.g., TEMPO), including RFQ inputs, sourcing decisions, and documentation.
Develop target pricing in collaboration with engineering and finance using should-costing and benchmarking methodologies to support sourcing decisions and productivity initiatives.
Support purchasing deliverables related to assigned programs, engineering changes, resourcing activities, and supplier transfers while maintaining timing and supply continuity.
Monitor supplier performance against QCD targets, drive improvement activities, and identify, escalate, and support mitigation of supplier and supply chain risks, including capacity, financial, and delivery risks, to ensure business continuity.
Manage commercial agreements and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures, contractual requirements, ethical standards, and sustainability objectives.
Ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures, ethical standards, and environmental / sustainability requirements.
Profile:
Minimum 3–5 years in purchasing, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environment
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and commercial negotiations
Experience managing both program-related and serial life purchasing activities
Strong knowledge of customer requirements and industry standards
English
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
SAP experience preferred
Skilled in negotiation and contract management
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Technical understanding of production processes, manufacturing equipment, and tooling
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain flows
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Results-driven with ability to operate under pressure and manage complexity
Ability to drive results in a cross-functional environment.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build working relationships
Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
