Senior RF Hardware Design Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
We are seeking a Senior RF Hardware Design Engineer to design, develop, and validate high-performance RF evaluation boards for next-generation semiconductor products.
Responsibilities
Design RF PCBs including schematic capture, component selection, and layout using Cadence Allegro/OrCAD.
Perform SI/PI analysis and EM simulations using Ansys HFSS.
Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and board validation.
Perform RF characterization using VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
Collaborate with RFIC, System, and Hardware teams to optimize board performance.
Requirements
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of RF PCB design and hardware development experience.
Strong expertise in Cadence Allegro/OrCAD and Ansys HFSS.
Solid understanding of RF fundamentals, SI/PI, impedance matching, and transmission lines.
Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment and high-frequency PCB design.
Python/C# automation and AI/ML experience is a plus.
Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
