About the team
The ServiceNow Developer is part of the IT Application Excellence team within Corporate IT. The role focuses on supporting the design, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow and related systems and integrations.
Working with developers, business analysts, and solution architects, the incumbent contributes to the development of user experiences and digital solutions to address business needs within the ServiceNow platform.
The incumbent helps ensure that business applications meet compliance requirements and provides efficient support and enhancement of business applications within Corporate IT.

What you will do
Support the implementation of ServiceNow projects, including enhancements, integrations, fixes, and features, in collaboration with business SMEs, and team members within Solution Architecture and Business Analysis.
Lead and support ServiceNow Release Upgrades, including coordination of activities, timelines, and required steps.
Participate in system testing, including configuring, automating, documenting, and performing test cases and test scripts to identify and correct issues or to verify desired functionality.
Design, develop, and document solutions on new platforms and applications, and support the testing of new features and capabilities on existing applications and platforms, providing best practices and analysis to the rest of the team.
Contribute to code reviews, adopting and documenting code and configuration management best practices.
Work in collaboration with your team to deliver projects on Agile methodology.
Act as the technical subject matter expert on some of the ServiceNow Modules such as:
HR Service Delivery
Employee Center Pro
IT Service Management
IT Operations Management
Strategic Portfolio Management
Primary Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration across modules such as:
IT Service Management
HR Service Delivery
IT Operations Management
Strategic Portfolio Management
Employee Center Pro
Experience with integrations between ServiceNow and systems such as:
Jira (Data Center & Cloud)
DataDog
SAP SuccessFactors
Salesforce.com
Prometheus
Integration Hub Elements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including change management expertise and the ability to translate complex, technical requirements for a non-technical audience.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively to prioritize business requirements.
Ability to anticipate technical implications of decisions on platforms and applications, and support solution planning.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy considerations in systems.
What we are looking for
Experience consuming and/or creating APIs
Experience in designing, configuring, supporting, testing, and implementing enhancements as well as supporting maintenance items for various business applications.
Experience developing test cases and performing all levels of testing and defect management.
Experience with system/data integration.
Experience working with ITOM/CMDB is an asset
Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, PHP, Microsoft.net framework, RESTful and SOAP based API web. services and authentication protocols and technologies.
Experience in Web programming (HTML5, Java script/jQuery, JSON, XML, CSS etc.).
Experience with SQL server / MySQL, developing stored procedures, complex queries, optimizing queries, and designing databases.
Knowledge of authentication protocols and technologies such as OAuth, SAML, open ID .
Expertise developing on specific application platforms supported by the team.
