About Position

Persistent is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, GoLang, Operators, and Cloud-Native technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and managing scalable Kubernetes-based platforms while driving automation, reliability, and engineering excellence across enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and enhance Kubernetes-based platform solutions.

Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Controllers using GoLang.

Develop automation frameworks to improve platform scalability and efficiency.

Drive cloud-native platform engineering initiatives and best practices.

Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed systems and container platforms.

Collaborate with development, operations, and architecture teams to deliver reliable platform services.

Contribute to platform governance, observability, and operational excellence initiatives.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement efforts.

Expertise You'll Bring

9–12 years of overall IT experience.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Kubernetes-based platforms.

Strong development experience in GoLang.

Hands-on expertise in building Kubernetes Operators and Controllers.

Deep understanding of container platform architecture and cloud-native ecosystems.

Experience with enterprise CI/CD platforms and DevOps methodologies.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed and containerized environments.

Proven experience supporting large-scale Kubernetes deployments.

Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Automation-first mindset with a passion for engineering excellence.

Ability to work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams.

Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
