Position Profile

We are looking for an experienced Energy Consulting engineer with significant expertise and interest in energy audits, energy management, power monitoring data collection, customer service, and working with new technologies to join our Sustainability team. As a member of this team, you will utilize your extensive technical skills to play a key role in the Efficiency Services. You will be travelling frequently and work closely with Sustainability Services team & other key stakeholders to assure timely implementation of EMIS projects.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks
Provide Energy Energy Audit & Consulting service for our customers in India.
Develop a strong understanding of our customers’ energy management and Sustainability goals related business needs and incorporate customer process and energy audit actions and implementation
Has worked in Design consultancy on HVAC system, Heat pumps and other thermal electrification solutions with AutoCAD , P&ID , SLD and related drawing
Has conducted Investment Grade study in with working with clients and floating RFPs for solution implantation .
5 years and more experience in Industry and Building segments in Energy Efficiency opportunities technical knowledge.
Research customer needs and applicable technical solutions, including analysis of alternatives
Work independently and with little guidance on assigned projects and activities. This includes project managing small to mid-sized services with SE Partners for Onsite audits.
High level of communication with the rest of the global team and other stakeholders
Travel to customer sites and Schneider country organization offices to implement EMIS systems and provide system training
Review requirements for estimation and Service delivery planning
Anticipate and manage technical risks
Work closely with Efficiency Service Head to ensure service execution is in line with estimates
Evaluate and select third-party components and new technologies for rapid development
Provide technical documentation for peers, stakeholders, and external audiences
Build and share expertise in Schneider Electric software systems and solutions, hardware, and supporting technologies and processes (develop best practices)
Identify high ROI opportunities that can be implemented in our software platforms and solutions

(External) English Qualifications:
Qualifications
Essential
You are passionate about customer needs and energy management consulting.
BEE or AEE certified Energy Managers & Auditors certification will be preferred .
MTech or B Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Power Systems, or equivalent* .
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Energy Consulting role with Buildings and Industry segments
Sound knowledge on various Energy efficiency standards and Govt Energy regulations.
Strong focus on customer service and quality
Strong communication skills and Documentation experience
Ability to work effectively in a global team while in remote locations
Proven ability to learn quickly, multi-task and handle pressure to meet tight deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Proven ability to be self-motivated and take personal ownership of an issue and get the job done
Ability to negotiate and manage scheduling and resource requirements
Strong understanding of electrical terminology and concepts
Interpersonal skills: team-oriented, positive, and collaborative
Ability to travel to Schneider Electric offices and customer sites worldwide
Desirable
Should have done Consulting with Industry and Building customers.
AutoCAD drawing experiences
Solid understanding of the energy management domain
Experience with third party products related to energy management
Extensive electrical knowledge à Power theory, electrical theory, wiring, safety
On-site power system experience
Mathematical aptitude
Ability to speak other language(s)
Educational requirements may be waived for individuals with extensive work experience.
