Full Stack Software Engineer

Senior Full-Stack Engineer | React / TypeScript / Python / Real-Time Systems

We are currently partnered with a fast-growing technology company developing high-performance, enterprise-grade software platforms that power complex real-time applications. As part of their continued product expansion, they are looking to hire a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale mission-critical web applications with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and engineering excellence.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, server-rendered web applications using React and strict TypeScript

Build and optimise resilient WebSocket communication pipelines, including reconnection strategies, client-server state synchronisation, concurrent task coordination, and message validation

Develop scalable backend-for-frontend (BFF) services using Python async frameworks to support real-time application workflows

Ensure server-side rendering (SSR) and hydration correctness through robust architecture, state rehydration, and efficient client/server code separation

Implement end-to-end type safety and runtime validation across APIs, WebSockets, and application state

Maintain high engineering standards through comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code quality initiatives, static analysis, and structured development practices

Key requirements

Strong commercial experience developing full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and Python

Deep expertise in modern React development, strict TypeScript, and complex browser application architecture

Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, WebSockets, event-driven systems, and real-time application design

Experience building server-side rendered applications with a solid understanding of hydration, state management, and rendering lifecycles

Proven experience developing backend services using Python async technologies such as FastAPI, asyncio, or similar frameworks

Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks including Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent
