Job Description
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will represent the entire range of ELMO Products, offering strategic, high-value solutions to our clients.
In this role, you will work autonomously to develop and grow new business opportunities across our extensive suite of HR, WFM & Payroll software solutions. You will manage the entire end-to-end sales process - from prospecting and demonstrations to proposals and closing deals. You will be supported by dedicated Lead Generation and Solutions Consulting teams to help you smash your quarterly revenue quotas.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Drive Strategy & Revenue: Develop clear strategies for value generation and actively pursue opportunities to maximize contract value in the mid-market space.

Manage the Sales Cycle: Deliver tailored pitches and software demonstrations across a variety of delivery modes (teledemo, face-to-face, screen share) depending on client needs.

Build Relationships: Strategically consult with key client stakeholders to understand their desired organizational outcomes and build long-term relationships.

Collaborate & Process: Maintain precise documentation of lead generation, follow-ups, and pipeline forecasts in Salesforce CRM. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams to execute opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
•
Experience: At least 4 years of proven success achieving targets in B2B software sales, specifically targeting mid-market clients (approx. 100 to 2,000 employees).
•
Industry Knowledge: At least 3 years of demonstrated sales experience within the technology industry, with a strong preference for HR/Payroll SaaS technology.
•
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to and influence stakeholders at all levels.
•
Drive: A self-starter attitude with a strong drive to prospect for new business and a high motivation to earn a strong commission-based income.
•
Technical Savvy: A deep understanding of the software sales cycle, Salesforce CRM, and basic knowledge of Information Security and Data Integrity Standards.
