As a Product Marketing Manager with Thales Australia, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our Land and Munitions product lines.

Land and Munitions designs, manufactures, and supports world-class military protected vehicles - including Hawkei and Bushmaster variants - along with major weapon systems and munitions supply. As a strategic partner to the Australian Government, we help strengthen sovereign capability across defence land and munitions domains.

This is your opportunity to blend market insight and creative strategy, working closely with our Product, Strategy, and Growth teams to design and deliver targeted marketing campaigns that help achieve ambitious business goals.

With a focus on actionable insights, competitive analysis, and powerful storytelling, you’ll help us grow our market share, strengthen customer engagement, and deliver strong commercial results.

You’ll be instrumental in providing data-driven recommendations, supporting key business decisions, and driving the success of our offerings in a fast-paced and competitive market.

Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land, your role purpose will be:

Design product strategies and lead cross-functional execution, delivering measurable growth and commercial impact

Spot new opportunities, trends, and risks to strengthen our competitive position.

Create clear, segment-focused messages and sales support materials.

Work closely with Product, Growth, Digital, Communications, and global teams to deliver aligned strategy.

Turn insights into practical recommendations that help grow the pipeline and inform business decisions.

On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

Proven ability to translate market and customer insights into clear marketing strategies and targeted international campaigns

Experience in a product strategy or marketing role within the Automotive, Aerospace, or Defence industries.

Solid understanding of market trends and product lifecycle principles

Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and global markets

Collaborative team player who thrives in cross‑functional and cross‑cultural environments

Creative, curious, and self‑driven with a proactive mindset
