Senior Planning Manager Global Logistics (m/f/d) - (m/f/d / All Genders Welcome)

Your Role
As our Senior Planning Manager Global Logistics (m/f/d), you will:
Own and optimize global inventory management for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods, balancing service levels, costs, and working capital
Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies, including safety stock policies, cycle counting, and excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory reduction initiatives
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Plan For Every Part (PFEP) framework
Ensure efficient material planning through the maintenance and optimization of relevant planning data
Manage logistics activities for new product introductions (NPI), engineering change management (ECM), and end-of-production/end-of-life (EOP/EOL) processes
Standardize and continuously improve global planning processes and systems
Oversee SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and ensure the quality and integrity of master data within the SAP MM and WM modules
Enhance planning and forecasting processes to improve forecast accuracy and planning reliability
Lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (S&IOP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) processes
Optimize and standardize global production planning to maximize resource utilization, ensure on-time delivery, and improve operational efficiency
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, Logistics, and IT to drive cross-functional process improvements
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while developing and maintaining business continuity plans
Initiate and implement projects to reduce logistics costs and improve overall operational efficiency
Drive the achievement of key Supply Chain KPIs, including Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), Excess & Obsolete Inventory (E&O), Forecast Accuracy, Premium Freight, and On-Time Delivery (OTD)
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience)
We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in supply chain planning, logistics management, or a related field, with a focus on international/global supply chains
Strong expertise in SAP, particularly in the MM (Materials Management) and WM (Warehouse Management) modules, as well as master data management
Proven experience in the implementation, management, and optimization of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), S&IOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning), and MPS (Master Production Scheduling) processes
Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives with measurable business results, such as cost reduction, inventory optimization, and service level improvement
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with experience leading cross-functional collaboration and managing stakeholders across all organizational levels
Advanced proficiency in SAP (MM, WM, MRP), Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence/data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, solution-oriented approach to optimizing complex supply chain processes
Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies
