Job Description

Monitoring the development of functional or business budgets, investments and resources.

Consolidating the budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing variances, and providing respective management reports. Executing high level account analyses, reviews, and ensuring financials are complete and accurate.

Preparing consolidation, analysis and reporting for regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) financial statements.

Overseeing consolidation of balance sheet and P&L statements and reports, according to accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, local standards, etc.).

Executes non-routine and case-specific analytics to support stakeholder (inside and outside own team).

Provides qualified support, i.e., introducing guidelines and services, ensuring documentation, or serves as escalation instance for an administrative team of Coordinators.

Acts as 2nd level support for requests, for customers and other stakeholder involved, and takes further investigations to clarify issues.

May support professionals in design and implementation of functional guidelines to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Plans team related work and service, in support of the responsible team leader or manager.

Performs independent judgement on subjects of relevance for the process assigned.

Responsibilites

Support the ongoing cost modelling process, including developing and controlling, initially BOM & process data collection, transitioning to a finance analyst role.

Liaise and develop close working relationships with all relevant departments for accurate data.

Finance engineering change management to ensure correct accounting treatment.

Ensuring business wide compliance of existing internals controls. Developing new, robust, internal control processes.

Develop and improve financials systems and processes, seeking efficiency gains.

Support the Cost Accountant as required on cost modelling and reporting.

Periodic financial manufacturing variance analysis and reporting.

Involvement in internal and external audits.

Requirements

Qualified or ambition to become a qualified accountant.

Strong numeracy and excellent excel skills with ability to analytically problem solve.

High level attention to detail.

Good inter-personal skills. Communicates well and builds cross functional relationships.

Goal and detail orientated, focussed and driven self-starter.

Flexible and able to adapt in a team environment.

Positive , enthusiastic and can-do attitude.

Receptive to change.

At least 5 years finance experience in similar role.

Manufacturing experience essential, needs an understanding of manufacturing processes.

SAP or equivalent ERP system knowledge essential.
