our ambitious Commercial Team at Digital i. This is an exciting opportunity for a

communications professional who wants to make a real impact in a fast-growing

company at the intersection of data, entertainment and media.

You’ll take the lead on Digital i’s strategic storytelling and thought leadership,

ethically-collected, high-quality viewing data empowers major global streamers

and studios to find their niche in an ever-changing landscape.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Lead as well as colleagues across sales,

research, and leadership, ensuring a consistent and compelling message across

every touchpoint, from the press to events to our in-house whitepapers.

This role is initially a 12 month Mat Leave cover with the scope to transition into a

permanent position as the team grows. Ideally we would like this person to be able

to spend time with your colleagues in our Bristol office however we can be flexible

on location.

Key Responsibilities

and external touchpoints

● Ideate and collaborate with Research and the Marketing Lead to find data-

driven insights and stories to pitch to top-tier media outlets

● Nurture existing media relationships and Digital i’s share of voice

with your own contacts

● Respond to inbound media requests and actively monitor the conversation to

place reactive comments in the press

● Design the narrative and lead the editorial for quarterly Digital i Trend

Reports

● Use your editorial eye to ensure the story in every piece of work delivered

by an analyst adds value and communicates insight with clarity

● Ensure that Digital i’s analysts and cutting-edge research is present at all

key media research events through earned speaking opportunities

● Manage Digital i’s social media presence in collaboration with the

Marketing Lead, including supporting the team with thought leadership and

industry commentary

● Maintain the internal weekly newsletter

● Stay ahead of current events in the media landscape and report back to the

team each month, presenting key insights, opportunities and threats and how

they affect Digital i’s position in the market

What We’re Looking For in an Ideal Candidate

● 10+ years of PR/Comms experience in the entertainment industry, either at

an agency or working for a brand or vendor.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can translate

technical ideas into clear, compelling messages.

● Data literacy, you don’t have to be a maths whizz, but you understand that

accurate and precise insights are a cornerstone of Digital i’s brand

● A natural-born storyteller, you’ll know that the quality of data storytelling is

just as important as the quality of the data and feel just as at ease crafting

headlines as presenting to a room of industry professionals

● A keen eye for detail and a commitment to champion the brand story across

the business.

● A creative mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for the media and
