Objective of the position:

Ensure the manufacturing process of Dashes for Santiago TMP, responsible for central electric shop (CES) for harnesses, coordinate the production, logistic & quality areas for dashes.

Develop new process, facilities, equipments & projects, to exceed the client expectations and accomplish all the score card of Toluca plant.

Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):

+3 years of experience leading and managing teams, with a strong knowledge of the product.

Main Functions:

Ensure the effective administration of the assigned budget (Fixed, Variable, CapEx) that avoid and prevent any deviation; in addition to promoting and implementing actions for optimization.

Development & improve manufacturing processes for dash assembly in order to exceed client expectations & any affectations for Santiago Plant or any other facilitie.

Ensure the operational engineering standards with DTNA/Santiago to achieve compliance with Daimler standards and ensure the quality of the products produced at Toluca Plant

Evaluate the productive capacity for the Services areas and make improvement proposals that ensure greater productivity and profitability (tools, machinery, equipment, infrastructure, among others)

Development all the union and non union employees, through the use of tools recommended by Daimler HR and promote a good working environment among the teams, always adhering to the current policies and regulations

Monitor that the purchase of materials is done according to the policies of inventory, in order to avoid missing or excess inventory.Implement tools, processes, and procedures that help the material handling and traffic.

Ensure all the inputs and outputs of material are made correctly and in compliance w/internal policies (including consignee materials). Ensure the cyclical counts as required according with Finance requirements.Measure the reliability of inventories through cyclical counts.

Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the IMS (Quality, Environmental, H&S) through the commitment of the staff in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of this, as well as ensure the implementation and maintenance of Certifications.
