Senior Staff Engineer

We are hiring a Firmware Engineer with 7+ years of experience in the WiFi domain. Candidates should have strong expertise in automotive WLAN/infotainment systems and hands-on experience with 802.11 protocols including P2P, NAN, TWT, and WPA3. Experience in firmware development, integration, and wireless connectivity solutions is preferred.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Designing and developing WLAN systems for automotive infotainment systems

Debugging and optimizing WLAN drivers and firmware to enhance performance and reliability

Collaborating with PHY team and marketing team to ensure development of customer requirement.

Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as those related to wireless communications and data security in automotive environments.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succee

Strong knowledge of 802.11 with protocols like P2P, NAN, TWT and WPA3.

Design and develop WiFi 7 protocols(STR, MLSR and eMLSR), including MAC layer protocols

Implement protocols in software, using programming languages such as C

Good networking knowledge of TCP/IP and Knowledge of host bus's PCIe

Ability to identify issues in the driver synchronization between different threads, also between interaction of application and kernel space

Test and validate protocols, including performance, security, and interoperability testing

Optimize protocols for performance, power consumption, and other key metrics

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that protocols meet required standards

Protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump

Need strong knowledge of internal working of one of the embedded OS Linux, Android

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in WiFi 7 technology and protocol development

Good team player in a multi-site work environment
