The Role: As a member of our Procurement Services team at IGM, you will be joining a highly collaborative group with experience in and passion for delivering innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees using the latest technology and insights.
This role works closely with all members of the Procurement Services team as well as Finance and Accounts Payable business partners to provide functional and configuration support for the Source-to-Pay platform. This position also provides procurement reporting and analytics support, including spend, market trends and business metrics. As required, the role also provides systems support backup for the TRG Screen market data inventory management platform.
Key Responsibilities:
System Support and Reporting
Functional and Configuration Support (40%)
Provide expert functional support for the Ivalua Source-to-Pay platform, addressing user queries and resolving issues promptly
Configure and optimize the platform to meet business requirements and enhance user experience
Develop and maintain configuration documentation and test scripts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement workflows that align with business goals
Creates and tracks tickets in the vendor reporting platforms as appropriate. Follows up for status and resolution.
Maintains required certifications for system administration and support of the Ivalua platform
Tests and supports Ivalua upgrades, patches and fixes prior to push to Production
Support data migration and system integration efforts
Provide backup support coverage for the TRG Screen Market Data platform , as required
Reports and Dashboards (20%)
Develop and maintain various procurement system reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Maintains and enhances the spend analysis tool, integrating data from Ivalua and other sources to analyze historical and forecasted spend to support Strategic Sourcing initiatives
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards
Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Data Modelling and Analytics (20%)
Perform data modelling to support business analysis and decision-making processes
Develops ad-hoc market analysis for Procurement and Business Unit stakeholders
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Data Management (20%)
Maintain the data management and IT process within Procurement to create, publish, and update information to maintain the accuracy and integrity of Procurement’s master data
Oversee integration points between Ivalua and our ERP platform, particularly for bidirectional Accounts Payable (AP) and financial data flows
Develop and maintain the analytical tools and templates supporting the Sourcing and Third Party Governance functions
Qualifications:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in a Business Analytics field (MIS) with knowledge in Supply Chain Management
1-3 years of experience in a systems and data analysis role, ideally gained within procurement and sourcing, and/or financial services environment.
Advanced level understanding of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Access)
Experience in information analysis from various sources (Products, Services, Expenses / Costs, Market, etc.)
Knowledge on Source to Pay (S2P) systems and processes
Exceptional analytical skills to gather relevant information, identify key issues, critically compare data, develop conclusions, and develop well-supported recommendations
Ability to convey ideas, information and materials to individuals and groups
Preferred Qualifications:
3-4 years of experience in a financial and data analysis role, ideally gained within procurement and sourcing, and/or financial services environment with 1-2 years of experience in developing spend and cost analysis in a procurement function
Knowledge in using Ivalua, and SAP/ARIBA Source-to-Pay platforms or equivalent
Knowledge in using TRG Screen market data management platform, or similar platform
Experience working with database and data analytical tools, such as SQL, VBA, and Power Query
Experience working with visualization tools, such as Power BI
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $52,500 - $63,500, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
