Location: Louisville, KY - Hybrid 3 days per week in office.

We're looking for an Operations Cost Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys partnering with operations to improve performance. You'll play a key role in financial reporting, cost analysis, inventory accounting, forecasting, and process improvement while working alongside plant leaders, supply chain, procurement, and finance teams.

What You'll Do
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for manufacturing operations.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting packages.
Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and operational performance to identify trends and opportunities.
Partner with plant finance, operations, procurement, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve financial results.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and productivity reporting.
Help ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting that provide greater visibility into operational performance.
Contribute to ERP enhancements, reporting automation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Support strategic projects, business integrations, and operational initiatives that drive long-term growth.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
Strong understanding of financial accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing operations.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and analysis.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
Experience using reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
Preferred
Experience with inventory accounting and manufacturing finance.
Consumer packaged goods (CPG) or beverage manufacturing experience.
