ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This role blends service and sales - you’ll handle day-to-day customer needs while also working directly with our senior sales team members to identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer inbound calls and walk-ins; assist with policy questions, billing, and coverage changes

Process endorsements, payments, and policy service requests accurately and promptly

Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities during service interactions (auto, home, life, etc.)

Quote and write new business for existing customers and referrals

Follow up on leads, referrals, and renewal/retention efforts

Maintain accurate records in agency management system

Support marketing initiatives (community events, social media, referral programs)

Deliver a consistently excellent customer experience that reinforces retention

QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Property & Casualty license required (or willingness to obtain within 30–60 days); Life & Health license a plus

Prior insurance, sales, or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable with basic sales conversations and asking for the business

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with computers/CRM systems
