Role Overview:

IMI is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer, a Ball Valve Manufacturing Company based in the Irwin area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and devices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the success of our engineering team.

Work Environment: Irwin, PA On-site

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design team in preparation of assembly and component drawings for sales orders, inquiries, and new product development using PTC Creo software

Maintain configurations, bills of material, and component/assembly data in ERP software

Work with assembly, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to resolve production issues

Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for customers, representatives, and our client's sales and marketing department

Perform design, layout, testing, and evaluation of products, including integration of automation

Serve as project coordinator on sales orders requiring ongoing technical guidance and oversight to maintain information flow between customer and departments within our client's organization (engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, etc.)

Participate in committees and project groups for activities (QA audits, Safety, ASME, CGA, etc.)

Critical Competencies for Success:

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or other Engineering track

Four or more years actual engineering work experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

3D modeling experience (PTC Creo preferred)

Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Office (Word, Excel, etc.

Pay range: $75,000 - $85,000

Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
