About the role
Job Overview: Seeking a talented design, implements, and optimizes rendering systems, shaders, and graphics features that deliver visual fidelity and real‑time performance. The role is hands‑on writing C++ and shader code, profiling CPU/GPU workloads, integrating art assets, and collaborating with UX tools (Altia Design/Kanzi Studio/Unity) and QA to ship stable, performant graphics for the target platforms Expect a balance of feature development, debugging, and performance engineering with frequent cross‑discipline collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Implement rendering features: Build lighting, materials, post processing, and animation systems to meet visual and functional requirements.
Write and optimize shaders: Author HLSL/GLSL/Metal shaders and tune them for correctness and performance across GPUs.
Profile and resolve bottlenecks: Use GPU/CPU profilers to identify hotspots and apply algorithmic or memory optimizations.
Integrate 3D assets and pipelines: Work with artists and tools to import, validate, and optimize meshes, textures, and materials.
Debug visual defects: Reproduce rendering issues, trace root causes, and implement robust fixes.
Maintain code quality: Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow engine coding standards.
Collaborate across teams: Coordinate with engine, tools, QA, and product to align on APIs, performance targets, and release scope.
Support platform portability: Implement abstractions and fallbacks for multiple graphics, APIs, and hardware capabilities.
