Overview:
GovCIO is seeking a ServiceNow Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced operations and maintenance environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Automated test framework in the ServiceNow platform. This customer-facing role will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will be remote located in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area with occasional client site visits.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Subject Matter Expert with demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow and government contracting environments. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on QA experience, a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, and a proven track record of supporting federal clients
Drive ATF QA efforts across ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
Identify, document, and track defects, drive resolution and retesting
Ensure compliance with government contract requirements and quality standards
Provide QA expertise during project planning, execution, and delivery phases
Support continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes and tools
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline
5-8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in ServiceNow ATF.
4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework (ATF), including designing, building, and executing automated test cases
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, workflows, and AI platform features
Familiarity with government contracting processes, compliance, and documentation standards
Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Certifications in ServiceNow including but not limited to Certified System Administrator
Clearance Requirement:
Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience integrating ATF with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Active DHS Public Trust
Certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified System Administrator, ATF Specialist) or QA methodologies (e.g., ISTQB)
Posted Salary Range: USD $90,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
Compensation
This QA Engineer role pays $90k-$110k/yr. Within typical range for qa engineer roles in United States.
