Your role

Are you a thoughtful evaluator of risk who enjoys understanding complex business processes and products? Do you want to play a role in how a global organization strengthens its controls and adapts in a fast‑moving environment?

We are looking for an intellectually curious auditor, with prior knowledge and experience in Technology and AI to:

Support the planning and execution of audits, issue assurance and risk assessment to generate meaningful insights in areas such as Technology Services, Cyber, Information Security, AI, Operational Resilience and Business-aligned Technology.

Effectively challenge the firm’s risk management and control environment, leveraging experience and sound judgement, and where relevant develop audit issues and reports in line with internal reporting and issue disposition standards.

Meet our internal standards for the quality, execution and documentation of work, taking account of legal entity coverage expectations, where required.

Build and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues and relevant stakeholders at all levels including senior management

Use AI and data analytics to enhance audit work, and partner with our Data Analytics & Innovation team to develop and execute data-driven testing and insights

Lead and support our local team as an inclusive and empowering people leader, coaching colleagues, fostering collaboration, and enabling growth and shared accountability

Your team

You’ll be part of Group Internal Audit, an independent function that safeguards and strengthens our firm. Working with multidisciplinary teams that blend business knowledge, subject matter expertise and capabilities in data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), you’ll assess how the firm’s governance, processes and controls operate. You’ll identify opportunities to enhance risk management and help drive improvements that advance our strategic goals. You’ll work in the Group Technology and Chief AI Office audit team, focusing on topics such as Technology Services, Cyber, Information Security, AI, Operational Resilience and Business-aligned Technology.

Your expertise

A degree level education in Finance, Computer Science, Information Security and / or Engineering

Experience with programming or scripting (e.g. Python, SQL or similar), and the ability to review and challenge code for quality, logic and associated control risks, would be highly advantageous.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally in internal/external audit, risk management or compliance

Relevant expertise in IT audit and /or technology risks covering infrastructure, applications, cyber and AI

Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across functions, cultures, and seniority levels

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and concise messages

Familiar with using data analytics and AI, consistently applying critical thinking to interrogate data, validate insights, and assess AI outputs

Committed to continuous learning and staying current with emerging risks and regulatory developments

Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, or CISSP are a plus
