Molex is seeking a Digital Engineering Site Administrator to support and advance the digital engineering ecosystem at our Global Technology Center in Bengaluru. In this role, you will serve as the site-level owner of engineering and operational technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration between engineering systems, laboratory environments, enterprise applications, and IT/OT infrastructure. You will partner with local and global stakeholders to drive digital transformation initiatives, enhance engineering productivity, strengthen cybersecurity, and enable scalable technology solutions that support innovation and business growth.
Our Team
You will be part of the Global Engineering and Digital Engineering organization, working closely with Engineering, Quality, Laboratory, Operations, Corporate IT, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation teams. Our team is responsible for enabling world-class engineering capabilities through secure, reliable, and integrated digital platforms that support product development, innovation, and operational excellence across Molex.
What You Will Do
Drive the deployment, support, and continuous improvement of digital engineering platforms that enable product development, laboratory operations, and engineering collaboration.
Partner with engineering, quality, and business teams to translate technical needs into scalable digital solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and innovation.
Lead site-level demand management activities, ensuring technology initiatives align with business priorities, architectural standards, and strategic objectives.
Enable successful product development and laboratory readiness by ensuring engineering data, product structures, specifications, and workflows are effectively managed across enterprise systems.
Support secure, reliable, and high-availability operations of engineering systems, IT infrastructure, laboratory technologies, and operational technology environments.
Collaborate with corporate IT and cybersecurity teams to strengthen system security, mitigate risks, and protect intellectual property and engineering data.
Drive digital integration initiatives that improve connectivity and traceability across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and enterprise platforms.
Establish technology governance, operational standards, and recovery procedures that ensure system reliability and business continuity.
Partner with vendors and technology providers to optimize system performance, enhance capabilities, and support future business growth.
Provide leadership for technology modernization initiatives, helping advance Molex's digital engineering and Industry 4.0 vision.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or digital engineering environments.
Experience working with engineering systems such as PLM/PDM, CAD, CAE, simulation platforms, or engineering workflow tools.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, virtualization, cloud technologies, and operational technology environments.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity and access management, and technology governance practices.
Experience supporting enterprise applications and integrated engineering environments.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience administering Teamcenter, PLM, CAD, simulation, or engineering lifecycle management platforms.
Knowledge of engineering change management, product structures, BOM management, and configuration control processes.
Experience supporting engineering laboratories, testing environments, and connected engineering infrastructure.
Familiarity with ERP, SCADA, MES, IIoT platforms, and engineering-to-manufacturing integration concepts.
Experience with API integrations, data analytics, business intelligence, and digital transformation initiatives.
Understanding of industrial automation technologies including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and shop floor systems.
Experience supporting cybersecurity audits, compliance activities, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity programs.
Experience managing vendors, software licensing, technology procurement, and support contracts.
Experience working within global engineering or manufacturing organizations.
