Charles River Development is rapidly growing its Software-as-a-Service platform. We are looking for a hands-on, well-rounded Identity and Access Management Operations Leadership role for our growing Identity Management team. The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for
Champion the improvement of identity and access management processes, controls and communications related to Policies across stakeholder groups
Lead, develop, and retain a team of IAM professionals across operational, engineering, and governance functions
Set team direction, manage performance, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration
Serve as an escalation point for complex IAM issues and cross-functional decisions
Oversee all IAM business-as-usual (BAU) operations including provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and recertification cycles
Ensure consistent enforcement of least-privilege and need-to-know access principles across enterprise systems
Maintain and continuously improve IAM operational runbooks, SLAs, and service delivery standards
Lead IAM response to regulatory examinations, internal audits, and Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs)
Maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence packages across IAM controls and processes
Partner with second and third lines of defense to ensure IAM controls meet regulatory expectations (SOC, ISO 27001, FINRA, NIST, GDPR, and other applicable frameworks)
Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) program including tooling, policy, and enforcement
Manage identity lifecycle for privileged accounts, service accounts, and non-human identities
Ensure alignment of IAM controls with enterprise cybersecurity strategy and zero trust principles
Provide regular reporting and briefings to senior technology and risk leadership on IAM posture, risk exposure, and program status
Act as primary IAM representative in cross-functional working groups and regulatory forums
Work with governance, security, system owners, and other IAM colleagues to address audit and regulatory related issues
Participate in development of roadmaps and participate in the standards process for Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
Promote effective teamwork, mentor employees, and evaluate individual performance
Establishes and maintains good working relationships with all IAM customers
What we value
A high degree of technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
A strong sense of customer service, attention to detail, and issue ownership
Large-scale identity and access management experience in a highly regulated environment
Strong understanding of core identity technologies (AD, Azure AD, Privileged Access Management) and their associated governance, lifecycle management, automation, and delivery
Ability to lead and work well with multiple priorities, and effectively handle concurrent demands to prioritize responsibilities
Ability to formulate clear strategy, present and gain support
Ability to effectively integrate, contribute and overlap with other functions including cloud/enterprise architecture, compliance, risk, engineering, developers
Ability to formulate objectives with clear business value and demonstrate progress along the way
Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts with proven experience driving decision making across different stakeholder groups
Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities
A champion for continuous improvement
Experience with infrastructure systems, security assessments, and security processes is a bonus.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management
Demonstrated experience leading IAM teams in a large, complex enterprise - financial services experience strongly preferred
Deep knowledge of IAM frameworks, protocols, and technologies including LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, PAM platforms (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or equivalent)
Proven track record managing regulatory examinations, MRAs, and audit cycles in a highly regulated environment
Strong understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks including SOC 2, NIST, and ISO 27001
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to senior and executive audiences
Cloud Service Provider experience, preferably Azure and Azure Identity
