Description of the role:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our growing Corporate Finance Advisory team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality advisory engagements across a diverse range of industries and transaction types. Working closely with Partners, Principals and Managers, you'll take ownership of analytical workstreams, prepare client-ready deliverables and contribute to the successful execution of complex engagements.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the full transaction lifecycle - from initial opportunity assessment through to completion - while further developing your technical expertise, commercial judgement and client advisory skills.
What makes you 'just right':
Approximately 2–5 years' experience in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Audit, Valuations or Advisory environments
A strong technical accounting foundation complemented by commercial acumen
Well-developed analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to a high-performing team environment
Relevant tertiary qualifications (CA, CFA or progress towards these qualifications will be highly regarded)
What your day might look like:
Delivering corporate finance engagements including M&A advisory, business valuations, financial due diligence and strategic advisory assignments
Preparing financial models and analysis to support transaction execution, business assessments and client decision-making
Producing client-ready deliverables including reports, presentations, board papers and transaction documentation
Building relationships with clients, management teams and external advisers while contributing to client discussions and presentations
Managing engagement workstreams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and to a high professional standard
Supporting team development by coaching junior team members and contributing to the enhancement of methodologies, templates and best practices
