Job Description

As a Front-end Developer, you will work with your teammates to optimize our applications. Your efforts will ensure an even better user experience for our clients. You will work closely with other developers to find creative solutions. Writing structured code and effective communication are essential parts of your daily work. You will develop, test, and maintain new and existing components. You advise on technical possibilities and are able to explain the challenges and opportunities to non-technical colleagues in an understandable way.

A relevant diploma at university or college level (if you do not have this but have experience, we would still like to receive your CV)

At least two years of work experience as a front-end developer

Experience with agile working methods (scrum)

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

Proactive attitude and the ability to take action independently or as part of a team

Willingness to develop yourself and grow with the team

Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude towards changes

Skills

HTML and CSS

Basic understanding of Javascript and familiarity with the latest ECMAScript versions

Experience with front-end JS frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)

Knowledge of APIs

Front-End build tools (Webpack, Babel, Storybook, or similar)

Git (GitLab or similar)

Employment Conditions

At AI FLOM, we work hard, but there's also plenty of time for relaxation and humor. We value you and your working environment. Your base location is Rijswijk, but you can also work from home occasionally. Our conditions:

Salary at least €2,500 gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week), depending on knowledge and education level

Functieomschrijving

Als Front-end Developer werk je samen met je teamgenoten om onze applicaties te optimaliseren. Jouw inspanningen zullen zorgen voor een nog betere gebruikerservaring voor onze klanten. Je werkt nauw samen met andere ontwikkelaars om creatieve oplossingen te vinden. Het schrijven van gestructureerde code en effectieve communicatie zijn essentiële onderdelen van je dagelijkse werk. Je ontwikkelt, test en onderhoudt nieuwe en bestaande onderdelen. Je adviseert over technische mogelijkheden en kunt de uitdagingen en kansen uitleggen aan niet-technische collega's op een begrijpelijke manier.

HTML en CSS

Basiskennis van Javascript en bekendheid met de nieuwste ECMAScript-versies

Ervaring met front-end JS-frameworks (React, Angular, of vergelijkbaar)

Kennis van API's

Front-End build tools (Webpack, Babel, Storybook, of vergelijkbaar)

Git (GitLab of vergelijkbaar)

Functievereisten

Een relevant diploma op universitair of hbo-niveau (indien je dit niet hebt maar wel ervaring, ontvangen we graag alsnog je cv)

Minimaal twee jaar werkervaring als front-end ontwikkelaar

Ervaring met agile werkmethode (scrum)

Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels

Proactieve houding en het vermogen om zelfstandig of als onderdeel van een team actie te ondernemen

Bereidheid om jezelf te ontwikkelen en met het team mee te groeien

Probleemoplossend denkvermogen en positieve houding ten opzichte van veranderingen

Salaris van minimaal €2.500 bruto per maand (op basis van een 40-urige werkweek), afhankelijk van kennis- en opleidingsniveau.
