Senior Accountant - Import export

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Accountant with 10–12 years of experience to manage our core accounting, taxation, and financial compliance in India. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in international trade operations (specifically from trading houses dealing in commodities like rice, sugar, or FMCG), direct liaisoning with banks, and robust knowledge of Indian tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

· Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping: Oversee and manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and timely finalization of accounts.

· Taxation & GST Compliance: Handle full compliance for GST (filings, reconciliations, and refunds) and Direct Taxation (TDS, Advance Tax, and corporate tax filings).

· Banking & Liaisoning: Lead banking operations, including managing working capital limits, preparing data for credit facilities, handling Bank Realization Certificates (BRC/e-BRC), and coordinating with bank officials.

· Export Logistics & Trade Documentation: Manage trade finance documentation, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, shipping bills, and compliance with FEMA regulations related to export-import.

Candidate Profile

· Experience: 10 to 12 years of core accounting experience, strictly within a Trading House / Import-Export company (prior experience in agro-commodities like rice or sugar trading is a major plus).

· Education: B.Com, M.Com, or Inter-CA / Inter-ICWA.

· Technical Skills: Proficient in Tally Prime, MS Excel (advanced), and government tax portals.

· Key Skills: Deep understanding of export procedures, custom clearances documentation, GST refund mechanisms, and bank liaisoning.

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
