Manager - Billing and Receivables

Job Summary

Programming.com is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Billing & Receivables to oversee our billing operations and accounts receivable function. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in billing and collections, and a proven ability to manage teams while ensuring timely invoicing, cash flow, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end billing and accounts receivable operations.

Ensure timely invoice generation, payment tracking, and collections.

Monitor outstanding receivables and minimize overdue accounts.

Lead and mentor a team of billing and receivables professionals.

Coordinate with internal departments and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.

Prepare MIS reports, aging reports, and collection forecasts.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.

Utilize AI tools and automation to improve billing efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.

CA Inter/CMA Inter will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in Billing & Receivables.

Experience managing a billing/receivables team of at least 5 members.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Tally Prime.

Excellent understanding of billing processes and accounts receivable management.

Experience with reporting and financial analysis.

Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Soft Skills
