Job Description
Job Description. Product Manager – CEDP Reporting & Data Platform The Product Manager will own and manage the delivery backlog for the CEDP Reporting and BAU Data PODs, ensuring alignment with the overall program plan and migration waves. They will work closely with Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Developers to reverse engineer legacy OBIEE and Power BI reports and translate them into clear, structured user stories. The role will be responsible for understanding existing reporting logic, calculations, filters, and dependencies embedded in legacy SQL and semantic layers. They will engage directly with business report users and Managers to validate current report usage, clarify requirements, and obtain formal sign-off on migrated report definitions. The Product Manager will act as the single point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders for reporting requirements and clarifications. They will define clear acceptance criteria focused on data correctness, metric consistency, reconciliation, and performance expectations. Responsible for backlog grooming, sprint readiness, and prioritization in coordination with the Business. Support sprint planning and ensure stories are fully ready for execution before commitment. Ensure migrated reports achieve functional parity with legacy systems while enabling standardization and reuse where possible.Identify risks related to ambiguous requirements, data gaps, or stakeholder misalignment early in the delivery lifecycle. Track and manage dependencies across datasets, reports, and upstream source systems. Drive consistent documentation of report logic, metric definitions, and assumptions. Ensure business validation and user sign-off is completed prior to production release. Support continuous improvement of reporting standards, templates, and delivery practices. This role requires strong experience in Business Intelligence, reporting platforms, or data engineering environments, with hands-on exposure to SQL-based reporting logic and ETL workflows. The ability to work directly with business users, understand how reports are consumed, and translate that understanding into precise technical requirements is critical. Domain exposure to financial or payments systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
