About the role
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps & Tooling Engineer with strong expertise in C#/.NET development, PowerShell scripting, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools, automating engineering workflows, supporting Windows-based products, and driving continuous improvement across build and release processes. This role requires strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain tools and utilities using C#/.NET.
Create automation scripts using PowerShell.
Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Support and maintain Windows-based applications and services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and perform root cause analysis for application, build, and deployment issues.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency.
Document technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of C#/.NET and software development fundamentals.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in Windows environments.
Familiarity with Git, build automation, and release processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure, Windows Security, Virtualization, WiX Toolset, and advanced scripting.
Familiarity with DevOps best practices, infrastructure automation, and deployment frameworks.
Exposure to installer packaging, software distribution, and enterprise Windows ecosystems.
