Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance Android applications, integrating RESTful APIs, and working with modern Android architecture components.

The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and may include mentoring junior developers when required.

Experience in healthcare or medical applications and a good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.

Integrate Android applications with backend services using RESTful APIs.

Build secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications.

Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and technical planning.

Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Guide and support junior developers as needed.

Maintain technical documentation and development workflows.

Ensure proper deployment and compliance with Google Play Store guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in Android application development.

Strong expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.

Hands-on experience with RESTful API integration and backend services.

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and design patterns such as MVVM.

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience in code reviews and following development best practices.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Healthcare or Medical domain applications.

Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, or FHIR.

Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.

Experience in mentoring or technical leadership roles.
