We are currently operating 20 outlets in Singapore.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support & Data Intern to support our headquarters and outlets across Singapore, with occasional involvement in Malaysia operations.

This internship provides practical exposure to end-user IT support, device setup, outlet systems, Google Workspace administration, basic networking, data preparation, reporting and IT documentation.

The intern will work closely with the IT team and business departments to help maintain smooth daily operations, resolve basic technical issues and prepare accurate data for reporting and analysis. Guidance and training will be provided throughout the internship.

Key Responsibilities

End-User IT Support

Provide first-level technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals.

Assist users with basic Windows, macOS, Google Workspace, email, MFA, VPN and productivity-tool issues.

Troubleshoot common hardware, software and connectivity problems.

Escalate more complex issues to senior IT team members or external vendors.

Follow up on reported issues to ensure that they are properly resolved.

Device Setup and User Administration

Assist with the preparation and configuration of laptops, mobile devices and user accounts.

Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including:

Setting up user accounts and email access

Preparing laptops and mobile devices

Configuring basic applications and security settings

Collecting and resetting devices for departing employees

Assist with software installation, system updates and device patching.

Maintain accurate records of company devices, accessories and assigned users.

Support device sanitisation, data removal and secure disposal procedures under supervision.

Outlet and Operational System Support

Assist in supporting POS systems, clinic systems, tablets, barcode scanners, receipt printers, label printers and other operational equipment.

Provide basic remote and on-site troubleshooting support for outlets.

Conduct routine checks to ensure that outlet devices and systems are functioning properly.

Assist with the installation and configuration of equipment for new or existing outlets.

Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, replacement, cabling or maintenance when required.

Network and Infrastructure Support

Assist with basic troubleshooting of Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, routers, switches and access points.

Perform initial checks for common network issues before escalation.

Support network and device setup during outlet openings, relocations or system deployments.

Update network diagrams, equipment lists and related technical documentation.

Data Preparation and Reporting Support

Assist in collecting and consolidating data from business systems, CRM, finance, attendance, sales and other operational sources.

Clean, organise and validate data using spreadsheets, SQL, Python or other approved tools.

Prepare structured datasets for management reports, dashboards and business analysis.

Help identify missing, duplicated or inconsistent data.

Support the preparation of reports relating to:

Sales and outlet performance

Customer activity and retention

Staff attendance and performance

Marketing campaigns

Operational KPIs

Assist in investigating reporting discrepancies and data-quality issues.

Support simple data automation or integration tasks under the guidance of the IT or data team.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in:

Information Technology

Computer Science

Information Systems

Data Analytics

Business Analytics

Data Engineering

Cybersecurity

Or another related discipline

Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and common business applications.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, Looker Studio or similar tools would be advantageous.

Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Wi-Fi, IP addresses, DHCP and DNS would be advantageous.

Interest in IT support, systems administration, data analytics or business technology.

Willingness to learn new systems and technical processes.

Able to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately.

No prior full-time working experience is required.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Google Meet.

Basic experience with data cleaning, reporting, dashboards or automation.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS.

Familiarity with retail, clinic, CRM, appointment, sales or POS systems.

Basic understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity and secure device handling.

Experience gained through school projects, internships, part-time work or personal technology projects will be considered.
