Day to Day
The Senior Strategist I position is part of the broader Global Client Insights team (GCI), in the Sales organization. Our team focuses on driving revenue growth among our largest enterprise accounts and driving innovation in the products, tools, and insights that help our Sales teams succeed. We collaborate across Indeed – including Sales, Product, Client Success, Finance, and Marketing – to identify data-driven strategies that improve client performance, enhance value, and support revenue growth.
As a Senior Strategist I, you will serve as both an insight creator and a strategic partner. You’ll turn raw data into compelling narratives, support a defined portfolio of enterprise accounts, and help drive scalable insight innovation across the org. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you will work closely with Sales leaders and directly influence client strategy and revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities
Review, interpret, and deliver raw data from various sources (product, sales performance, campaign data, etc.) and transform those data points into creative and compelling insights
Develop persuasive, data-driven, insightful narratives that highlight business impact, drive client value, and influence action among both internal and external senior executive decision-makers
Collaborate with Sales and Client Success to support a defined set of enterprise accounts by identifying areas of opportunity, addressing performance gaps, and delivering custom insights that align with the client goals
Translate client needs, pain points, challenges, and feedback into insightful strategies and actionable, bespoke solutions that drive ROI and long-term value
Proactively contribute to innovation in insight methodology and narrative development across verticals and regions
Participate and manage strategic internal projects that require partnership across teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance
Ideate and help in cultivating innovative ideas to help solve client problems through data-driven approaches
Skills/Competencies
Requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or a minimum of 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to deliver messages effectively to both external clients and internal executive business partners. Experienced in reading a room and articulating key messages in a clear and concise manner.
Proven data problem-solving skills & data modeling experience with the ability to interpret large data sets and extract key insights, with experience in search performance and/or brand measurement datasets
Proven track record of building client-facing stories that influence decision-making, demonstrate ROI, and drive results with experience supporting a book of business or working directly with Sales/Client Success partners
Proven proactive collaborator who can operate across a variety of teams and functions, is a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and can execute effectively across multiple projects without missing deadlines
Technical skills in SQL, Tableau (or similar tools), Excel, and PowerPoint, with familiarity using Salesforce.
Ability to travel (10-20% of the time)
Salary Range Transparency
Tier 2 - Ireland 56,000 - 84,000 EUR per year
