About the role
Job Overview:
Seeking a talented AUTOSAR Application with Model Based Software Developer to join our global team and will be responsible Oversee the designs, implements, and validates embedded software features using visual modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and State flow, and configures model to code toolchains (Embedded Coder, Target Link) to produce production ready, MISRA compliant C/C++ for Smart Cockpit ECUs. This hands on engineer owns component design, verification across MIL/SIL/PIL, bug resolution, and continuous improvement of algorithms and generated code.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Autosar Software Components.
Configure and use model to code toolchains to generate production ready, MISRA compliant C/C++ from Simulink/State flow
Analyze and fix software bugs and defects across models, generate code, and integration layers
Improve algorithm design and generated code for performance, memory, and real time constraints
Ensure compliance with automotive safety and quality standards including ISO 26262 and ASPICE. Maintain requirements for traceability
Write and maintain technical documentation for models, generated code, interfaces, and architecture
Plan and execute HIL, SIL, and PIL testing and debugging to identify root causes and verify fixes
Collaborate with systems and software architects to translate high level requirements into modular, scalable model architecture
Create and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for model builds, code generation, testing, and delivery
Train and mentor junior developers; perform technical reviews of models and generated code to ensure quality and robustness
Interface and lead debugging sessions with integration teams to resolve integration issues
Collaborate with validation teams to analyze defects and close validation gaps
Define and maintain development plans, roadmaps, and KPIs, report progress and quality metrics
Write best practices and guidelines for model based development and Autosar integration
Plan and review outsourced activities, provide technical and managerial oversight, and approve deliverables
Leverage AI and GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, automate documentation, and improve code quality
