Responsibilities

Turn data into insights, predictions and actionable recommendations, delivering clear business value to customers in their business challenges

Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to meet monthly, ad‑hoc, and strategic reporting needs for Cloud teams and external customers

Build and manage Power BI Dataflows to ingest, transform, and standardize data using Power Query and DAX

Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are highly compatible with enterprise data warehouse standards

Develop and execute complex SQL queries to perform data validation, reconciliation, and in-depth analysis of data surfaced in Power BI

Collaborate closely with Back-end Data Engineers and Cloud teams to troubleshoot data quality, performance, and pipeline issues

Optimize report performance using best practices in data modelling, DAX optimization, incremental refresh, and aggregation design

Provide technical advisory and guidance on Power BI development, SQL optimization, and data management to team members and cross‑functional stakeholders

Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards, including implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS)

Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication etiquette

Requirements

Extensive hands-on experience developing Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards leveraging Power BI Service and Dataflows with automated refresh

Strong experience designing and maintaining Power BI Dataflows connected to multiple data sources, including SQL Server and cloud platforms

Advanced proficiency in data modeling, dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), and working with large-scale datasets

DAX Mastery, including:

Complex calculated columns and measures

Time intelligence and date calculations

Performance-aware DAX patterns

Extensive experience using SQL for data analysis, validation, debugging, and performance tuning

Solid understanding of ETL processes, data structures, and data warehousing concepts

Proven ability to troubleshoot database and data pipeline issues in collaboration with engineering teams

Hands-on experience configuring and managing:

Incremental refresh

Row-Level Security (RLS)

Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern ways of working

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage concurrent demands and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Nice to Have

Experience with Power Automate for workflow and reporting automation

Exposure to Power Apps integration with Power BI
