Database Reliability Engineer

Como Database Reliability Engineer serás la persona de referencia en bases de datos dentro de nuestros proyectos de Digital & Cloud. Trabajarás con equipos de desarrollo, arquitectura e infraestructura para asegurar la fiabilidad, el rendimiento y la seguridad de las bases de datos en entornos de producción.

Main Responsibilities

Administrar y mantener bases de datos SQL y NoSQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka)

Mejorar la fiabilidad, el rendimiento y la seguridad de las bases de datos utilizadas por las aplicaciones de nuestros clientes

Investigar incidentes y realizar análisis de causa raíz y troubleshooting de rendimiento

Colaborar con developers y equipos de infraestructura para optimizar consultas, indexación y patrones de acceso a datos

Automatizar tareas recurrentes (health checks, validación de configuración, verificación de backups, monitorización y reporting)

Mejorar la observabilidad mediante monitorización, alertas y dashboards

Contribuir al hardening de seguridad, revisión de accesos y actividades de compliance y protección de datos (cifrado, retención, borrado controlado)

Profile

Grado o Máster en Informática, Ingeniería o similar

Experiencia sólida como DBA, database engineer, platform engineer o database reliability engineer (aprox. 3 años en rol de referencia técnica)

Mínimo 2 años administrando PostgreSQL/MariaDB o SQL Server en entornos de producción

Experiencia con al menos dos tecnologías de bases de datos (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka)

Buen conocimiento de SQL, Linux y Unix Shell

Experiencia con herramientas de monitorización (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK u otras)

Inglés fluido; otros idiomas son un plus
