Schneider Electric is seeking an ambitious, commercially-minded technical professional to join our rapidly expanding Digital Power business. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, sustainability, digitalisation and critical infrastructure, helping customers solve some of their biggest energy and operational challenges.

Unlike traditional technical sales roles, this position offers the opportunity to influence customer strategy, shape major projects from concept to completion and play a leading role in delivering Ireland's digital energy future.

Working with Schneider Electric's market-leading EcoStruxure platform and Digital Power portfolio, you will engage with leading Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Utilities, Infrastructure and Industrial sector customers, delivering solutions that improve resilience, efficiency, sustainability and operational performance.

Responsibilities:

Sales Growth & Business Development

Drive sales growth across Schneider Electric's Digital Power portfolio.

Build, qualify and convert a strong pipeline of opportunities.

Develop new business while growing existing strategic accounts.

Support the successful closure of complex, high-value opportunities.

Contribute to account plans and growth strategies with sales teams.

Deliver profitable and sustainable revenue growth.

Strategic Opportunity Development

Act as the Digital Power specialist on strategic customer opportunities.

Support opportunity qualification, competitive positioning and win strategies.

Influence customer specifications and project requirements at an early stage.

Support opportunities throughout the full Customer Project Process.

Collaborate with tendering, engineering and delivery teams.

Develop compelling technical and commercial value propositions.

Technical Sales & Solution Consulting

Engage customers to understand operational and business challenges.

Position Schneider Electric's Digital Power and software solutions.

Lead customer presentations, demonstrations and workshops.

Develop differentiated technical proposals and business cases.

Articulate measurable business outcomes including efficiency, resilience and sustainability improvements.

Customer Engagement & Market Development

Build trusted relationships with customers, consultants and partners.

Act as a recognised advisor in Digital Power applications.

Represent Schneider Electric at customer events and industry forums.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Support the growth and evolution of Schneider Electric's Digital Power presence in Ireland.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong electrical power knowledge combined with a passion for customer engagement and business development.

Proven experience in technical sales, solution sales, business development or application engineering.

Experience in electrical power systems, power monitoring, energy management or industrial automation.

Track record of driving growth and delivering customer value.

Experience within Data Centres, Life Sciences, Utilities, Infrastructure or industrial sectors is advantageous.

Experience with one or more of the following: Electrical SCADA Systems, EPMS Platforms, Energy Management Systems, Power Monitoring Systems, EcoStruxure Power Operation, Power Monitoring Expert, or equivalent Digital Power Platforms.

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.

For this Ireland based position, the expected pay range is EUR 80,000 - EUR 120,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the Ireland. Our pay ranges are determined by the local market.
