Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Work Location: Ontario, Toronto, Canada (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Java Spring Boot and application development and maintenance

This role involves analysing existing code creating understanding documents and having a good understanding of insurance underwriting

Primary Skill

Java Springboot AWS working exp knowledge on migration projects

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks

Work with AWS to deploy manage and scale applications

Analyze existing codebase and create comprehensive understanding documents

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and implement new features

Ensure application performance scalability and reliability

Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers

Identify and resolve application issues bugs and bottlenecks

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

Proven experience in Java and Spring Boot development

Strong experience with AWS services and cloudbased application deployment

Experience in application development and maintenance

Ability to analyze code and create detailed understanding documents

Good understanding of insurance underwriting processes

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

Compensation range: $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
