Job Overview

The Ops Sup Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Operations Support department through delegation of tasks and responsibilities for multiple teams

Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members as well as determining staffing needs

Monitor team’s end results, ensuring quality and efficiency and contributes to resource planning, budget management and formulation of procedures

Contribute to development of new techniques, models, and plans within area of expertise

Facilitate alignment of the Operations Support infrastructure through focused technologies and processes

Ensure compliance with government regulations as they pertain to retail accounts serviced through the evaluation and implementation of appropriate control and testing measures

Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of information and in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures in complicated and unique situations

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Ability to manage teams.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience managing a team

Experience in analyzing business requirements, developing test plans, and discrepancy resolution

Required Licensing/Registration: Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, and Series 63

Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Self-motivated and detail oriented

Proven organization and time management skills

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

El Supervisor Senior de Operaciones y Cumplimiento se caracteriza por tener desarrolladas habilidades duras y blandas, mentalidad de crecimiento enfocada en logros, constancia, adaptabilidad, mejora continua, creatividad y una fuerte ética en sus funciones. Se asegura y apoya al personal a su cargo en todos los procesos y procedimientos se implementen y aseguren un ambiente de control y operación adecuados en el Front de Ventas. Elabora métricas y analiza el resultado de estas utilizando los recursos de manera eficiente para presentar los escenarios que contribuyan al desarrollo y cumplimiento de metas del Negocio con el fin de minimizar los riesgos inherentes y residuales que se presentan en las Divisiones y Segmentos de Wealth Management.

Responsabilidades:

Implementar soluciones en conjunto con los equipos centrales de Wealth Management para que el Front de Ventas proporcione una experiencia positiva a los clientes en la administración de su patrimonio.

Generar métricas e informes de tendencias para el negocio.

Facilitar al equipo a su cargo herramientas para sus actividades con el Front de Ventas.

Construir estrategias para facilitar los procesos y procedimientos aplicables en un ambiente profesional y confiable.

Mantenerse actualizado acerca de los procesos y procedimientos del Negocio, Políticas Institucionales y Regulación aplicable.

Integrar conocimientos profundos del área de inversiones con una sólida comprensión de las normas y prácticas aplicables.

Proporcionar orientación, capacitación y reforzamientos necesarios para contribuir a la mejora de los procesos y procedimientos.

Analizar y validar información compleja de manera independiente con el fin de ofrecer recomendaciones y soluciones.

Resolución de diversas problemáticas/situaciones que se presentan en el BAU de los segmentos de Wealth Management.

Evaluar adecuadamente los riesgos para tomar decisiones, considerando y protegiendo al cliente, al Front de Ventas, áreas centrales del Negocio y la reputación de Banamex.

Ser auxiliar en las revisiones de control y operación, así como en las acciones a seguir resultado de estas (Revisiones de Gerentes de Control y BOF).

Apoyar al subdirector de Soluciones y Cumplimiento de Negocio en las distintas actividades que se deban llevar a cabo resultado de los análisis permanentes de las necesidades del Negocio.

Calificaciones:

Entre 2 y 3 años de experiencia en rol relacionado

Dominio del idioma inglés deseable

Certificación AMIB como AEI deseable

Conocimiento y dominio de paquetería Office

Educación:

Título Universitario/Licenciatura o experiencia equivalente.
