Join GovSignals as a founding platform engineer owning the data and deployment infrastructure for AI-driven government contracting. You will scale ingestion for 10,000+ data sources, manage secure environments across AWS GovCloud and Cloudflare, and build agentic harnesses that power billions in contract volume. This role directly impacts national security infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Build and scale the ingestion and storage infrastructure for 10,000+ government data sources using Postgres logical replication and object storage on S3 and R2.

Ship a single codebase to diverse environments including commercial SaaS on Cloudflare Workers and self-hosted Kubernetes in AWS GovCloud for restricted networks.

Develop infrastructure where AI agents are first-class users, including agentic harnesses that support billions in government contract volume and automated remediation loops.

The ideal candidate

Has 5+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering with deep expertise in Postgres internals and Kubernetes in production environments.

Brings a security-first mindset and proven experience taking complex systems through real scale, such as significant migrations or major throughput walls.

Demonstrates proficiency in TypeScript or Python and a heavy reliance on AI tools to accelerate work within regulated or highly sensitive environments.
