As a Legal, Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in helping Sonepar maintain the highest standards of legal compliance, corporate governance, and risk management across North and South America.

What You'll Do

As a Legal, Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will help strengthen our governance and compliance programs by:

Supporting the daily operation of third-party risk management processes, including business partner due diligence and compliance reviews.

Serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and third-party risk management service providers.

Assisting in the development, review, and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.

Supporting conflict of interest reporting programs, annual disclosure processes, and ongoing compliance initiatives.

Assisting with export control compliance activities and regulatory reporting.

Supporting ethics reporting platforms, investigations, documentation, and case management activities.

Preparing, monitoring, and analyzing compliance-related KPIs and reporting metrics.

Coordinating subpoena responses, litigation holds, and document preservation activities.

Maintaining legal tracking systems and supporting litigation, regulatory, and investigation documentation.

Managing annual risk management reporting requirements and monitoring vendor insurance compliance.

Supporting policy development, compliance communications, and training initiatives across the organization.

Partnering with HR, Finance, Sustainability, Operations, and other business functions to execute compliance initiatives and provide guidance on legal and compliance matters.

We would love to meet you if you bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, Political Science, or a related field.

Two to five years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related corporate environment.

Knowledge of corporate compliance programs, governance processes, and risk management principles.

Familiarity with third-party risk management, due diligence processes, and compliance monitoring.

Knowledge of anti-corruption regulations, KYC standards, OFAC requirements, export controls, or related compliance frameworks is a plus.

Experience supporting litigation processes, legal documentation, or regulatory inquiries is preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn compliance management systems and risk management platforms.

Strong analytical, organizational, research, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and business functions.

High ethical standards, professional judgment, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Conversational English (B2+) or higher. Spanish proficiency is highly valued.
