Investment Banking Analyst

Job Description

Within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), you join the Talent Pool Corporate team, composed of 9 people, as an analyst.

The Corporate Talent Pool was created in 2019 to support senior originators in marketing and executing transactions across all Investment Banking business lines (DCM, SECM, Capital Structure & Rating Advisory and Acquisition & Strategic Finance) for corporate clients.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

Lead the modeling (construction of complex business plans, realization of acquisition models and development work);

Be in charge of financial analysis (performance analysis on an absolute and relative basis, understanding the business model, positioning and impact of market conditions, identification of potential problems);

Prepare presentations of marketing documents (pitch books, teasers), presentations related to the execution phases (investor presentations, Information Memorandum etc.);

Produce market studies (research of public information on companies and their markets, writing summary notes on the information collected, development and maintenance of databases).

As an analyst within the Corporate Talent Pool, you are directly involved in the various phases of projects for clients and prospects at Natixis CIB, from origination to closing.

With a higher education, you have a first successful experience as a financial analyst in the field of financing, Corporate Finance, ECM or DCM.

You master:

Financial analysis;

Modeling;

The production of market analysis;

Client presentations;

Corporate finance techniques.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

Able to work on different projects with several originators;

Able to deliver excellent quality work and to seek the "extra mile" within sometimes tight deadlines;

Endowed with a strong team spirit.

You are proficient in English with a C level.
