As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic Human Resources Generalist who can help us build an exceptional team while strengthening our company culture and organizational discipline.

Position Summary

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building organizations rather than simply maintaining them.

During the first 90 days, your primary focus will be helping us recruit exceptional talent across multiple departments while introducing stronger HR processes, improving accountability, and creating an engaging workplace culture.

You will work directly with the President and leadership team to help shape the next chapter of Analyticsmart's growth.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (40%)

Lead full-cycle recruitment across technical, consulting, sales and corporate positions

Source candidates through multiple channels

Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews

Coordinate hiring managers throughout the recruitment process

Improve interview processes and candidate evaluations

Build an ongoing talent pipeline for future hiring needs

Create an outstanding candidate experience

Employee Relations & HR Operations (25%)

Assist managers with employee coaching and performance conversations

Support disciplinary processes and documentation

Ensure company policies are consistently applied

Help resolve workplace concerns professionally and confidentially

Participate in onboarding and offboarding activities

Maintain employee files and HR documentation

Culture & Employee Engagement (20%)

Help create a workplace where employees are engaged, accountable, and enjoy coming to work by:

Organizing team-building activities

Planning employee appreciation events

Developing recognition programs

Improving employee communication

Supporting wellness initiatives

Gathering employee feedback and recommending improvements

Helping strengthen our company values and culture

HR Process Improvement (15%)

Review and improve existing HR policies

Develop standardized onboarding programs

Create employee handbooks and documentation where needed

Recommend best practices for performance management

Assist with compliance and employment standards

Support leadership with organizational planning

Qualifications

5+ years of Human Resources experience

Experience recruiting multiple professional positions simultaneously

Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation

Experience handling employee relations and performance management

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently

Nice to Have

CHRP or CHRL designation

Experience recruiting software developers or technical professionals

Experience working within technology, SaaS, consulting, or professional services organizations

Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems

Experience helping scale growing companies

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

Successfully recruit several key positions across the business

Improve hiring speed and candidate quality

Implement more structured onboarding processes

Introduce consistent HR policies and accountability practices

Launch employee engagement initiatives that strengthen company culture

Build trust with employees while supporting managers in maintaining high performance standards
