QA Automation Developers

As a QA Automation Developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated testing frameworks, ensuring the highest standards of service quality and performance. Required Skills:
Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
Strong understanding of test plan creation, test case development, and testing methodologies
Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
Experience with performance, load, and security testing
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
Knowledge of software development best practices, including TDD and BDD
Ability to interpret and analyze testing results, reports, and metrics
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with AI and machine learning applications in testing
Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Previous experience working within government or large-scale enterprise environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance, automation testing, or software development
Proven track record of delivering automation solutions in complex project settings
Other Requirements:
Work will primarily be remote, with possible meetings in Edmonton on short notice
Work must be performed within Canada
Ability to work up to 1,960 hours over the contract period, depending on project needs
Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and deliverables
