If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Buyer (GSM) to execute the strategical buying for GFBB logistics & packaging procurement commodities.

Based in Berlin, you will report to the Group Manager Logistics & Packaging procurement. You should have tracked records of procurement commodity management, strategy set up and vendor management. Ideally you have in-depth knowledge of markets and carriers and experience in negotiating contracts for logistics commodities.

What You'll Do

Support the management of logistics & packaging procurement categories and optimize the procurement process for Giga Factory Berlin logistics.

Develop and implement strategies to drive down costs, aligning with our commitment to responsible sourcing.

Leverage your analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities, should cost, analyze market trends, and evaluate supplier performance to make informed decisions.

Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing agreements and contribute to the company's financial goals.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.

Develop and deliver comprehensive logistics procurement reports to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.

Develop a strong Supplier Relationship Management program

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

3-5 years of practical experience in logistics/procurement.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with responsible sourcing principles and commitment to sustainable procurement practices.

Spend more than 80% at our Grünheide factory office and/or our vendors’ location.
