Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Oracle cloud services.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, or connectivity problems.
Implement security measures to safeguard organisational data and infrastructure against cyber threats.
Develop automation scripts using Python or Java to optimise network operations and maintenance tasks.
Configure and support operating systems such as Windows and Linux to ensure seamless integration with network components.
Collaborate with development teams to support APIs, SDLC processes, and DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies in accordance with organisational standards.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements for existing systems.
Qualifications
Proven experience in network engineering or related IT roles.
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
Familiarity with programming languages like Python and Java for automation purposes.
Understanding of APIs, SDLC methodologies, DevOps practices, and network security protocols.
Knowledge of enterprise networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous but not essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
