Role Overview

As Engineering Manager, you will lead our multidisciplinary Platform team (Frontend, Backend, and DevOps) in Garden Grove, CA. You will drive the development of critical initiatives, including the Fleet dashboard, payment integration systems, and vehicle configuration tools, while acting as a strategic bridge between firmware and software engineering. In this role, you will resolve cross-functional conflicts, manage prioritization, and foster a culture of technical excellence and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Platform team across Frontend, Backend, and DevOps.

Manage high-impact platform projects, specifically the Fleet dashboard, payment integration, and vehicle configuration services.

Provide architectural guidance, focusing on solid firmware integration and robust system design.

Resolve cross-functional conflicts and drive prioritization to ensure successful project delivery.

Foster a collaborative team culture focused on end-to-end delivery and technical excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

Deep technical expertise with solid architectural understanding and hands-on experience in React and GoLang.

Proven track record of cross-functional leadership and end-to-end delivery.

Experience with telemetry, real-time data visualization, and geospatial dashboards.

Domain agility: Automotive experience is not a requirement; we value the ability to transfer expertise from other domains (e.g., mapping, consumer applications).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IoT, telemetry, and real-time distributed systems.

Familiarity with workflow management tools such as Jira.

Background in vehicle or asset tracking systems.
