About the role
Own end‑to‑end Finance MDG service delivery: throughput, quality, SLA adherence, cost-to-serve and stakeholder satisfaction.
Lead and develop a high‑performing MDG capability (MDG / CoE / Data Quality teams as applicable), ensuring appropriate skills and resourcing to meet business demand.
Define and track MDG objectives and KPIs, using operational dashboards and reporting to drive performance and continuous improvement.
Implement and maintain the Finance Master Data Standard, ensuring consistent governance and application of agreed controls and processes across the organisation.
Maintain governance principles and checklists used for onboarding new objects/fields and integration projects (MDG governance and integration frameworks
Ensure controls evidence is available and auditable, supporting internal control testing and assurance activity where relevant. (The Finance MDG controls process is documented with defined roles and contacts.)
Establish and maintain data quality standards and hygiene processes; coordinate cleansing/enrichment activities and root cause remediation of recurring data issues.
Drive scheduled and ad‑hoc data quality inspections and exception reporting to identify gaps, duplication and control failures, escalating where required.
Own Finance Master Data request processes and user guidance, ensuring requests are properly authorized and executed through the standard workflow.
Manage and maintain the operational tooling used for Finance master data collection and automation (including the BTP forms guidance and downstream workflow integration).
Provide input to conceptual/logical structures and hierarchies for Finance master data, ensuring structures support business reporting, controls and operational requirements.
Partner with Group Finance, Divisional Finance and Finance Operations to embed the Finance data management strategy and improve adoption of standardized master data practices.
Coordinate across Technology/SAP teams, control functions, and Data Governance to ensure aligned delivery (including change control, approvals, and communications)

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
University Degree or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
