Introduction
Oxford University Press is seeking an Analyst, DPM to support the development, enhancement, and delivery of innovative digital products that help advance learning and educational outcomes. As part of the Digital Product Management team, you will play an important role in supporting the development, customization, release, and maintenance of digital products. You will work closely with colleagues across Editorial, Marketing, Customer Services, and external technology partners, helping to deliver high-quality digital solutions that support OUP's mission of advancing knowledge and learning.
The role offers exposure to product management, agile delivery, digital content management, quality assurance, customer-focused product enhancements, and educational technology. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, building innovative solutions, and contributing to the ongoing growth of digital learning products.
Opportunity
As Analyst, DPM, you will support the delivery of digital products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring high-quality user experiences and timely product releases.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the development of new products, product features, and innovative ideas, including building quick MVPs to help stakeholders visualize product concepts.
Developing feature backlogs and user stories, agreeing priorities with stakeholders, and supporting agile delivery of product enhancements within agreed timelines.
Managing the sourcing, ingestion, and delivery of learning content for digital products.
Enhancing digital content by enabling engaging digital interactions and learning experiences.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of product releases.
Supporting product development processes and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Coordinating Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure products meet performance and security requirements.
Supporting the timely delivery of school updates, patches, installers, and software releases, including planning, testing, release note validation, and communication activities.
Delivering product training sessions for Customer Services, Marketing, and other internal teams as required.
Ensuring User Manuals, FAQs, Help Videos, and related support materials are maintained, updated, and of a high standard.
Ensuring compliance requirements, NDA obligations, and third-party processes are followed in accordance with group guidelines.
Coordinating effectively with Editorial, Marketing, Customer Support, Finance teams, and third-party vendor partners.
Impact
This role is critical in ensuring OUP's digital products are delivered efficiently, maintained to high standards, and continually improved to meet customer needs. By supporting product development, content delivery, quality assurance, and stakeholder collaboration, you will help drive successful product launches, improved customer experiences, and operational excellence across OUP's digital portfolio.
About You
Essential Criteria
B.Tech or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-4 years of IT experience.
At least 1 year of experience in product development, product management, or project delivery roles.
Experience in digital product creation, development, implementation, and execution.
Experience working within the EdTech, K-12, or Publishing domain.
Experience supporting cloud-enabled and web-enabled solutions, including web and app-based products.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven ability to coordinate with third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
Self-motivated, creative, dedicated, and able to work independently.
High level of integrity and ownership.
Desirable Criteria
Experience working within agile product development environments.
Exposure to QA, UAT, release management, and product lifecycle management.
Experience managing customer-facing digital products and implementations.
Understanding of digital content workflows and learning technologies.
Experience developing product documentation, training materials, and support resources.
Knowledge of educational publishing and digital learning solutions.
