Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst
Locations: Boston, MA (hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional to join our team supporting complex partnership and investment fund tax operations in a fast-paced financial services environment. In this role, you will collaborate across accounting and tax functions, contribute to innovative tax allocation solutions, and play a key part in delivering high-quality client service while advancing your technical expertise.

How You Will Make an Impact
Prepare tax workpapers
Responsible for meeting client deliverable due dates
Develops and implements solutions to partnership tax allocation issues within the framework of our proprietary software
Interacts with internal fund accounting staff on an as-needed basis to provide tax accounting guidance
Assists in the maintenance and testing of our software, workpapers & procedures by analyzing changes in tax and industry requirements and suggests improvements
Performs research of relevant tax laws, regulations and rulings to determine the proper tax treatment of issues
Analyzes company financial statements
Required Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting – CPA/MBA a plus
A solid understanding of the accounting & tax treatments applicable to a wide variety of publicly & privately traded domestic & foreign financial instruments including equities, debt, forwards, futures, options, swaps & derivatives
2-5 years of tax experience in partnerships, hedge funds and financial services
Experience with tax adjustments related to investments and partnership capital transactions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Well-organized and self-motivated to deliver an outstanding product
Team Player, attentive to detail and proven ability to multi-task
An above-average proficiency in the use of MS Excel as well as a working knowledge of the entire MS Office product suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service
What Sets You Apart:
Knowledge of foreign reporting requirements a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team Player, attentive to detail and proven ability to multi-task
At least 2 years of recent partnership tax accounting experience, preferably in the area of investment partnerships
