About the role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Factory Supervisor/Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality standards, and enforce safety procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and experience in supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily factory operations and shop floor activities.
Allocate manpower and monitor workforce productivity.
Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned schedule.
Maintain product quality as per company standards.
Monitor machine utilization and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with Safety, 5S, and company SOPs.
Maintain daily production reports, shift reports, and machine logs.
Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Planning departments.
Train and guide production operators and technicians.
Monitor raw material consumption and minimize production wastage.
Ensure discipline and attendance of shop floor employees.
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure timely completion of customer orders while maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
Experience in supervising machine shop, fabrication, assembly, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards.
Familiarity with CNC, VMC, HMC machines and assembly processes is preferred.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP).
