Job Description:

The APAC Operations BI team is looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent web development and database skills. This individual must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and a proven track record of effectively translating business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions. The ideal candidate should also show a passion for business processes optimisation and challenging the status quo.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build web applications to allow users to visualise large datasets and KPIs.

Run complex simulations for forecasting and planning.

Manage workflow between business functions.

Design, develop, tune, and service SQL databases

Engaging with business users for business requirements

Developing enhancements to existing solutions

Production support for applications and databases

Design, build, and rapidly develop web applications using RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional development environment.

Strong knowledge of web application development and analytical programming.

Strong development experience in using a LAMP solution stack.

Experience in developing applications with PHP, Python, Angular 2, and React.

Strong object-oriented programming and design experience.

Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modelling.

Experience in SQL tuning, writing complex queries, triggers, and query optimisation.

Able to proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members and non-technical business partners.

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Must possess an enthusiastic and positive work attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of coding languages such as Java, Node.js JS is a plus.

Experience in Docker and micro services architecture is a plus.

Knowledge of building applications in the Supply Chain space preferred.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,800.00 per month
